Deckgeon

About

A non-competitive entry to weekly game jam #160, theme "Nothing lasts forever".

Deckgeon is a rogue-lite, deck-building, dungeon-crawler! Build up a set of powerful cards to help you make your way through a dungeon and collect ancient artifacts. However, monsters stalk the dark halls and want to take your life.

The colour pallette for the game is based on Kerrie Lake's "Dreamscape8".

Original idea based off of TangoTek's "Decked Out" minecraft game.

Bugs

This is a game jam game, so probably won't be perfect!

If you find any bugs in the game, please let me know in the comments on this page. Be sure to include what happened, what you were expecting to happen, and anything else you think might be important.

Like what you see?

If you really like what you see and want to encourage me to do more stuff like this, why not throw some loose change in my general direction?

Hey there. First off, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to make a game like this. Rogue-lites and deck-builders are my jam and you got both!
However, I had a major issue with the game, that being that the aspect ratio seems to be off, I think I can only see the top left of the screen and there's no clear full screen option (double-clicking and ESC don't work). Here's a screenshot for reference: https://imgur.com/a/2AS8fmr

Just one thing: I think it's already there somewhere and I just can't see it due to the screen size problem, but there should be a replay button for when you die.

With that being said, I don't think I can give any other feedback on the game, which is a damn shame. I'll be waiting for the bug fix so I can try it.

Hi there! Thanks for trying out my game, sorry it didn't work out! You actually managed to find two bugs in one there, so great job! The game should now both be sized correctly and also let you respawn when you die. Let me know what you think!
